Riscossa Semi Di Orzo Pasta made by the same Italian family. In Italian orzo means barley. Shaped like a large grain of rice, this form of short-cut pasta is incredibly versatile. It is a tiny pasta shaped like rice, made from 100% durum wheat semolina. Orzo is traditionally made from flour, but it can also be made of whole grain. It is often made with semolina, a type of flour made from durum wheat. Ideal for soups and salads or use instead of rice as a side dish with almost any main course. Orzo is quick to cook and easy to eat. Try with vegetables and a citrus vinaigrette as a cold pasta salad. In summer, enjoy orzo in a salad tossed with ricotto, roast tomatoes, rocket and basil. And in winter, with taleggio cheese and roasted squash. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Recommended Preparation—Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the pasta for the recommended 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain thoroughly and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.
