CLASSIC BREAD AND BUTTER CHIPS SANDWICH
Spice up our very own bun muska with an all time favourite! First muska you bread or bun.
On one side of bread add Hugo Reitzel Bread & Butter chips and pack the sandwich with the second piece of bread.
With the sweetness from the pickles & savoury from the butter, you will fall in love all over again
BE FREE SALAD:
Be free with a healthy and gluten free salad combine Hugo Reitzel Diced Sweet & Sour pickles, diced yellow & green bell pepper, diced onion, diced tomatoes and mint in a salad bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and salt & pepper. Pour the mixture over the salad. Toss vegetables to coat. Add additional salt and lemon juice, as desired. Toss again before serving. Make a bed of spring greens and mound the salad on top before serve.
CLASSIC VEGAN HAMBURGER:
Mix finely chopped young jackfruit, grated onion & garlic, dry bread crumb with a dash of olive oil and Worcestershire sauce together. Add salt and pepper to taste. Shape into 4 patties about 3/4 inch thick. Refrigerate at least 20 minutes before cooking. Brush the pan with a little oil, allow them to fry and form a crust on one side and then flip them carefully and cook until they are nice and pink and juicy. Meanwhile, roughly chop the lettuce, slice tomatoes and set side. Once the patties are cooked, split the burger bun into two and toast them quickly on the griddle or in a toaster. Sandwich the cooked ‘Elvis’ patty along with the lettuce and tomatoes. Top it with Hugo Reitzel Gherkin Sweet & Sour chips between the toasted rolls and serve them on individual plates with Hugo Reitzel Dill flavoured gherkins as sider. And Viola! Your very own Classic Vegan Hamburger is ready.
