  • About Superfino Carnaroli: Superfino Carnaroli Rice is Often referred to as the “King of Risotto Rice. It is an Italian medium-grained rice grown in the Po Valley region of Italy. Carnaroli is used for making risotto, differing from the more common arborio rice due to its higher starch content and firmer texture, as well as having a longer grain.
  • Ideal choice: While Carnaroli rice is most famous for its use in risotto, it can also be used in other rice-based dishes where a creamy texture is desired. Try with traditional Italian Arancini.

  • Cooking Instructions: 1 Cup Dolce Vita Superfino Canaroli Rice, 4 cups of water or broth, 1 tsp sat (opt), 2 Tbsp butter, 1 bunch asparagus, 1 small onion, 2 cloves garlic, 1/2 cup grated cheese,2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil. Fresh basil leaves for Garnish . Preparation: Heat vegetable broth or water over low heat. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil and butter until translucent. Add Dolce vita Carnaroli rice and stir well to coat it with butter. Add warm broth a little at a time, stirred until absorbed, cook for 20 minutes until rice is lender. Blanch asparagus, then stir into the risotto with parmesan cheese. Season and let risotto rest briefly before serving hot. Enjoy the creamy Asparagus Risotto.
