Sambal Oelek is a Southeast Asian kitchen staple. A chili paste made from fiery red chilies, garlic, salt, and sugar. It is not just another spices paste and is actually quite the flavorsome ingredient, which is also surprisingly versatile. Primarily used in meat preparations, or in marinades, it goes just as well with paneer and other vegetarian and vegan proteins. Sample the delights of this mind-blowing condiment/cooking paste with this easy-to-make, taste bomb of a recipe.
